What do you enjoy most about working in the retail industry?
I love the direct connection to the customer. What I love about e-commerce is how quickly you can see results when you make changes to promotions, and that you can measure almost everything.

If you weren't working in the retail industry, what do you think you'd be doing?
Investing in retail companies or services provided to retail companies to make the shopping experience better.

How would you describe your leadership style?
When I have a strong team achieving its goals, I give my team lots of autonomy. When I have a team that’s struggling and not meeting its metrics, I have to roll my sleeves up and be more of a micromanager.

What's the best advice you ever received, and who gave you the advice?
My brother called me when I was in college and he was in business school and told me, “Your career is all about your reputation, so be thoughtful about your relationships in business.”

Do you have any mentors in the retail industry?
Yes, I have many but two standout mentors.

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?
I’m a mom of three kids. I enjoy being with my family and watching my kids play sports. I also love to travel.
