During the August Women in Retail and Total Retail Virtual Exchange, Amy Errett, CEO and founder of Madison Reed, an omnichannel beauty brand that's challenging industry titans in the hair color space, was interviewed by Jennifer DiPasquale, co-founder and president of the Women in Retail Leadership Circle. The two discussed everything from the white space that Errett saw in the hair coloring industry that led her to launch Madison Reed to lessons she's learned being a leader during challenging times to what she's most looking forward to in 2021, both professionally and personally.

In this video clip from the session, Errett discusses that while many companies experienced difficult times during the early days of the pandemic, Madison Reed saw a surge in consumer demand for its products. Furthermore, she details how her and her team were able to pivot to meet that increased demand. Lastly, Errett addresses how she quickly established a series of safety protocols and procedures to protect employees, customers and partners during the pandemic.
