Prospecting: Eversave's '$10 for You' Campaign Drives New Customers
Daily-deal e-commerce site Eversave hoped to acquire loyal customers for itself and its merchants through a new campaign that focused on quality deals.
Eversave, which offers deals in 22 markets across the U.S., ran a “$10 for You, $10 for All,” campaign from Aug. 23 to Aug. 25. The campaign gave consumers $10 to spend on any merchant offering a deal through Eversave, with the $10 in Save Rewards deposited automatically into the consumer’s Eversave account. The company gave away more than $7 million to its members during the campaign.
Eversave also encouraged its members to spread the word on social media outlets during the campaign in an effort to reach more people who may not have heard about the brand or the merchants running deals on its site. Eversave's Facebook post on Aug. 24 showed that the company wasn’t shy about trying to acquire new customers: “You got your $10 in Save Rewards; now it’s your turn to spread the love with friends and family members. Tell them to sign up for Eversave so they can get in on the $10 gift too! Comment here to let us know how you share the Save, and you could win $10 in Save Rewards. Do you tweet it? Do you post it on your Facebook page? Do you email your friends?”
Eversave’s deals are even aggregated to coupon sites that share the information with their audience. “I share lots of offers from different daily-deal sites with my readers,” says Lynn Mahoney of MavenofSavin.com, a coupon merchant that works with Eversave. “One of the things I like about Eversave is that not only does it offer deals that are relevant to my readers’ lifestyles, it occasionally surprises its members with fun perks like extra Save Rewards that can be used like cash on the site.”
