Los Angeles-based Forever 21 Inc. has unveiled an additional 6,300-sq.-ft. of space at its Oxford Street store in London, according to www.wwd.com. The store now features 39,000 sq. ft. of space, allowing the retailer to display more products, including its accessories, lingerie and cosmetics lines. The retailer also has added a store in Manchester, northern England, to its U.K. portfolio. The 20,000-sq.-ft. store is located in the Trafford Centre mall, and is expected to become the retailer’s second largest in the United Kingdom in terms of volume. Forever 21 has opened its eagerly awaited London flagship store. The popular U.S. fashion brand has created a shopping frenzy by landing on London’s Oxford Street. Scores of eager shoppers lined the streets for the store’s launch earlier this week and were treated to complimentary ice cream, sweets and goody bags as they waited for the doors to open.

The Gap has teamed up with the House of Valentino to launch a limited-edition women's collection in late November, in time to celebrate the opening of Italy's first Gap store in Milan. The line, according to published reports, will be designed by Valentino creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli. The apparel will reportedly be available at the to-be-opened Milan Gap flagship, Gap's London Flagship on Oxford Street, the Dover Street Market and at Paris' Collette. It will also be available at Gap's new Rome store, which opens next year. There are no current plans to launch
