Pin of the Week: Is F-Commerce Making a Comeback?
Welcome to this week's "Pin of the Week." This week's featured pin is "Facebook Rolls Out 'Want-able' Pics of Products in the News Feed," an article from Mashable showcasing what Facebook's "want" button will look like in the near future.
It was announced earlier this week that Facebook is talking with seven retailers, including Pottery Barn, Victoria's Secret, Wayfair and Michael Kors, to help launch the Pinterest-inspired e-commerce effort "Collections." Facebook users will be able to share and create wish lists with friends. Unlike Pinterest, Collections will include a buy feature, allowing Facebook users to "want," "collect" and "like" items.
What do you think of Facebook's new e-commerce effort? Do you think it will help it bounce back from its current slump, or do you feel this is an idea that just won't work? We'd love to hear your thoughts! Let us know by commenting on our Pinterest and Facebook pages.
