
Every year there's a different focus to the Direct Marketing Association's Annual Conference. This morning I'm heading out to Chicago to witness the spectacle once again. And once again (if you pardon the shameless self-promotion), I'll be presenting my session, The 9 Immutable Laws of Social Media Marketing. In truth, I haven't read much about DMA13. Frankly, I want to be surprised. I'll be adding another post toward the end of the week with my takeaways from the show. In the meantime, my guess is that much of the focus in the sessions and the exhibit hall will be on two things: big data and mobile marketing. These two areas interest me, and I'll pay particular attention to them and report back. I'm not sure if both topics are real or hype, so I want to use my time to decipher the code and hopefully provide you an insight or two in the process.
