St. Louis -- A Ross Dress for Less executive suggested that the midwestern United States offers significant growth potential for the discounter. In an interview on the St. Louis Today website, reported Monday, the company’s VP for the midwest region Fred Shuey said that Ross’s two just-opened St. Louis stores will be joined by more. “This is two of many,” Shuey said at a breakfast, referring to the retailer’s St. Louis debut with openings in two former Linens ‘N Things locations in Chesterfield and Fairview Heights on Friday. Princeton, N.J. -- Digital and interactive agency Rosetta said Wednesday it has teamed with appliance and electronics retailer Hhgregg to launch a mobile e-commerce site to complement the re-designed Hhgregg.com website. Hhgregg said it began working with Rosetta in early 2011 to develop an e-commerce platform that would provide the same high level of customer service as is provided in-store and to enable the company to compete more effectively with national multichannel retailers.
