As beauty-product sales increasingly move online, Ulta Beauty has launched a technology initiative to improve its service and boost sales. It's part of an ongoing makeover that the Bolingbrook-based retailer launched in 2013.

This brings the retailers total number of completed U.S. solar energy projects to 25. Addition installations are under way at 14 more stores.
