TJX to go Online Again - New Site Expected Late Fall
TJX, parent company of T.J.Maxx among other retail brands, announced this week it will launch a new e-commerce site for T.J.Maxx in late fall. Beyond the growth potential of the already successful brick-and-mortar businesses, the company views e-commerce as another opportunity for long-term growth.
"We are on track with our plans and expect to launch our T.J. Maxx website in a controlled mode by late fall," said Carol Meyrowitz, CEO of TJX Companies on a recent call with analysts. "We plan to do e-commerce profitably and, most importantly, not disappoint our customers. Grow smart is our motto." - AllNewsRetail
