Walgreens to Sell Health Clinics to Advocate

Walgreens has agreed to sell its Chicago-area health clinics to Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care as part of the drugstore chain's massive effort to streamline operations and cut costs. The two companies said Monday that the deal includes all 56 of Walgreens’ in-store clinics in the region, which will come under Advocate's ownership in May. Terms of the agreement weren't disclosed.
