There's no question that Federica Marchionni has put her stamp on Lands’ End. There is, however, sharp debate about whether that's been a good thing. Brought in to polish the lackluster performance of the classic-clothing retailer, Marchionni — described by supporters as tough and visionary, by detractors as cutting and headstrong — has indeed shaken things up in Dodgeville.
