Lumber Liquidators' third-quarter earnings up 57%

Lumber Liquidators Holdings Inc., owner of the national hardwood flooring chain, announced Thursday that profits jumped 57.2 percent for the third quarter. The Toano retailer’s net income reached $6.7 million, or 24 cents per share, for the quarter ended Sept. 30. That’s up from $4.3 million, or 15 cents per share, for the same period last year.
