99 Cents Only Names Interim CEO

99 Cents Only Stores said Wednesday it has named Andrew Giancamilli, chairman of the board, as interim president and CEO following the resignation of Stephane Gonthier. The Los Angeles-based company didn't give a reason for Gonthier’s departure. Gonthier joined 99 Cents Only as president and CEO in September 2013 after working in various divisions of Alimentation Couche-Tard, the Canada-based convenience store chain, and subsequently serving as COO of Dollarama, a dollar discount chain in Canada.
