Woonsocket, R.I. -- CVS Caremark announced the promotion of three senior executives within its retail organization. Robert Price, chief marketing officer of CVS/pharmacy, takes on an expanded role in the company with the addition of retail innovation and store design to his responsibilities; Scott Baker, RPh, executive VP, internal operations, real estate and supply chain, adds inventory management and logistics to his responsibilities; and Judith Strauss Sansone has been named senior VP merchandising for CVS/pharmacy. She most recently served as VP merchandising and pricing.

CVS Caremark has named its two highest ranking retail executives to jointly lead the company’s CVS/pharmacy business, effective immediately. Mike Bloom, executive vice president of merchandising and supply chain, and Scott Baker, executive vice president of internal operations and real estate, will jointly manage the chain’s retail business until CVS completes its search for a new president.

Woonsocket, R.I. -- CVS Caremark Corp. said Tuesday it is resuming its search for a new president of its pharmacy operations in view of Wal-Mart Stores’ lawsuit to block its previous choice. The company said executives Mike Bloom and Scott Baker will lead the retail pharmacy business while CVS Caremark seeks a permanent president. Baker is in charge of CVS Caremark's internal operations and real estate, and he has been with the company for about 25 years. Bloom is in charge of merchandising and the company's supply chain. He has worked for CVS and CVS Caremark for 20 years.
