Janet Hayes

Janet Hayes, currently the president of Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen, will become president of the Williams-Sonoma brand, effective March 20. She replaces Richard Harvey, who will be leaving the company on May 3 after 30 years of service. Hayes has served as president of Pottery Barn Kids and PBteen since 2010. 

Willams-Sonoma’s PBteen brand opened its first-ever pop-up store on Nov. 4 in Natick, Mass. The space is centered around the PBteen Design Lab, four computer terminals where shoppers can create a dream room by selecting and placing PBteen furniture and accessories in their virtual room.
