Kate Ryan

Kate Ryan is the managing director at Diffusion PR and oversees all U.S. office operations and provides strategic counsel agency-wide. She has more than 15 years of experience managing award-winning PR and social media campaigns for a wide variety of B2B and B2C brands – whether they’re the next big start-up or a major listed brand.

 

Has led her teams to win more than 60 awards for PR, social media and marketing campaigns, including PRSA, PR Daily, Hermes, Sabre and MarCom awards for everything from Brand & Reputation to Best Product Launch. Many of Kate’s clients have received the ”World’s Most Innovative Companies” designation from Fast Company, ranking them in the top 10 in their respective industries.

 

Kate was named one of the Bulldog Reporter’s “Stars of PR” for 2017 and one of PRSA New York’s 15 Under 35 for 2018; in 2019 she served on the Board of Directors for PRSA-NY and she has been the Judging Chair for the PRSA Big Apple Awards since 2020. In 2020 she was also named one of the Top Women in PR by PR News and in 2021 she received the PRSA-NY President’s Award. In 2022 she was named an Industry Innovator by PRNews in their annual Top Women in PR awards; in 2023 she was named a Changemaker by PRNews and in 2024 she was named to PRNews’ Top Female Agency Leaders list.
