While attending the IRCE at RetailX conference in Chicago last week, Total Retail's Joe Keenan interviewed Rick Gemereth, chief information officer at Lionel Racing, the official die-cast seller of NASCAR racing and a subsidiary of Lionel LLC. Gemereth discussed Lionel Racing's partnership with NetSuite, including the business benefits it has realized since implementing the software company's single cloud-based ERP solution for all its business applications, from supply chain to CRM to back-office financials. Gemereth also comments on the data challenges Lionel faced before moving to NetSuite, when the company's data was scattered across multiple systems, and how NetSuite's solution now allows different teams within the organization to access and analyze data.
