The consumer connection, the art and science, and the innovation.

Tech, travel and philanthropy.

How would you describe your leadership style?
Integrated, empowering, integral, transparent, energy-giving and optimistic.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received, and who gave you the advice?
My dad says, “Focus on what you love, make a difference and the money will come.” He also said it was about people helping people. He was right — as always.

Do you have any mentors in the retail industry?
Yes, many! And more importantly, many sponsors, who have made room for me at the table over the years.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I ski, snowboard, needlepoint, raise my children (8-year-old twins), sit on the board of Kate Spade as a director, golf, spend time with my family, cook and read.
