The vast majority of Office Depot's business in Europe — upwards of 90 percent — comes from B-to-B customers. The office supplies retailer is working to ensure those business customers, whose needs differ from consumers, are getting the best experience possible (i.e., fastest and easiest) when shopping on its website. In this interview from the Monetate Summit in Philadelphia, which took place this week, Jonathan Newman, who leads Office Depot's e-commerce and marketing operations in Europe, discusses how the retailer is using personalization as a means of generating loyal customers.
