Rick Watson

Longtime ChannelAdvisor executive Rick Watson left North Carolina for New York City recently to take a job as Director at Barnes & Noble's Marketplace. He has spent the last 4-5 years working in product management and developing software roadmaps, and knows ecommerce marketplaces from the inventory-management engineering and seller side. Barnes & Noble opened its marketplace to third-party sellers in 2006 allowing them to sell books, music and movies. With so many retailers (Sears, Walmart, Buy.com, for example) expanding their marketplaces to 3P sellers in nearly all categories, it's no surprise BN.com would expand its 3P program as well.
