Karen Rhoads

Kearney, Neb. -- Teen apparel retailer The Buckle reported Thursday that net income for the quarter ended July 31 climbed 13.5% to $23.6 million. Revenue rose 12.6% to $212.4 million, and same-store sales increased 8.5%. The company also reported that its CFO Karen Rhoads will remain in her position, after having said earlier this year that she would be stepping down.

Kearney, Neb. -- The Buckle announced Thursday that its CFO will step down by February 2012. Giving no reason for the planned departure, the teen retailer said that CFO Karen Rhoads will continue in her position through the completion of the fiscal year, which ends Jan. 28, 2012, unless a new CFO is found before then. The company said Rhoads plans to continue to serve on the board of directors.
