GameStop's PowerUp Rewards program, which rewards members with points redeemable for various items when they make purchases online and in stores, has gained 10 million members since its launch in October 2010. The fast-growing program helped the retailer achieve record earnings, with digital sales up 53% in Q1 of 2011. "PowerUp Rewards is roughly 50% of our transactions and climbing," explains J. Raines, CEO of GameStop. "We know that our average PowerUp Rewards member spends more than three times what the average non-member spends.
