Pittsburgh -- Dick's Sporting Goods announced Monday it will open two new stores on June 13. A store at Bloomfield Town Square, in Bloomfield, Mich., will be the sporting goods retailer’s 20th store in the state. The new store opening at Northborough Crossing, in Northborough, Mass., will be the retailer’s 17th in the state.

Wegmans Food Markets Inc. and Walgreens have settled a lawsuit filed by Walgreens in November 2010, in which the Deerfield, Ill.-based drug store operator alleged that some Wegmans logos infringed Walgreens trademarks. Under the terms of the settlement, which was reached early last month, Wegmans agreed to discontinue the use of the “circle W” symbol on store-brand product packaging by June 30, 2012, but retained the right to freely use the name “Wegmans” in script, as well as its other marks. Toronto -- Canadian golf retailer Golf Town said Thursday it has opened its first five stores in the United States, all located in the greater Boston area. The $25 million U.S. market expansion includes stores in Avon, Bellingham, Reading, Seekonk and Watertown, Mass., all of which opened on March 24 and total about 100,000 sq. ft.
