The design pays homage to Godiva's Belgian heritage. The first store to integrate the new design was unveiled at Amerkez in Istanbul's Nisanti district. The design incorporates an interactive 360-degree “Chocolate Island,” and a two-story glass cabinet, which will replace the previous chocolate display cases. The interior colors will feature dark browns and bright creams. Redesigned stores will begin opening in the United States this year
