Equip Your Site With Product Content, Survey Finds

If you’re hoping to sell products via the Internet this holiday season, your Web site should contain information detailing product benefits and capabilities, according to WebCollage’s 2007 Survey of Online Consumer Product Research Habits. Findings show that 67 percent of online shoppers feel detailed product benefits and capabilities are the most useful pieces of information when researching a product for purchase. The survey polled 333 respondents age 18 and older who shopped online at least once within the past year.
