Stefan Hilger

Stefan Hilger is co-founder and an executive board member of gicom AG, a global provider of agreement lifecycle management software solutions and consulting services for the retail, wholesale and consumer goods industries. In this role, Hilger leads and oversees gicom’s strategic sales and marketing initiatives, developing and managing relationships with key customers and partners to drive growth and expand market share globally. With more than 25 years of consumer industry experience, Hilger is an expert in executing digital transformation and applying data-driven strategies for optimizing and streamlining operations, improving customer experiences and boosting profitability.

Prior to co-founding gicom, Hilger started a consulting firm in Frankfurt in 2000 while his co-founder and business partner Hans-Jakob Reuter established a consulting firm in Cologne. They met at a previous consulting firm and collaborated over the years. In 2006, they decided to merge their companies to create gicom.

In 2016, by leveraging a long-standing partnership with SAP, Hilger and his team developed “SAP S/4 HANA for Agreement Profitability and Negotiation by gicom,” a solution extension for SAP’s ERP platform for successfully optimizing business partner relationships and streamlining core processes across procurement, sales and finance. An SAP solutions expert, Hilger is a proven leader in delivering tangible IT solutions and services to drive growth, maximize profits and accelerate international expansion for his clients.

Under Hilger’s leadership, gicom has received numerous awards, including TOP 100 German SMEs’ “Top management that promotes innovation” in 2021 and “Top Innovator” in 2018, EHI Retail Institute’s “Top Supplier Retail” in 2015 and SAP’s notable Pinnacle Award, “Solution Innovator of the Year,” in 2011.

Hilger resides in Mainz with his family, where he enjoys community service activities, cultural events and piano.
