With the growing popularity of smartphones and tablets, mobile commerce has grown exponentially year-over-year. MarketingProfs forecasts that mobile commerce sales worldwide will hit $119 billion by 2015 and the percentage of retail purchases made online will be 54 percent by 2014. Furthermore, 53 percent of consumers say they take part in showrooming — i.e., looking at products in-store, then buying them online.
