DMA Hires Former Spiegel VP O’Keefe
While reacting to Catalog Choice’s moves, DMA made a move of its own to try to ward off another catalog-related challenge — the inroads made by the American Catalog Mailers Association, the group launched last year to help better assist catalogers in postal rate cases. The DMA announced on Sept. 26 that it had hired former Spiegel VP of Marketing Neil O’Keefe as VP, catalog and multichannel merchant segment, reporting directly to Senior VP of Member and Segment Services Ken Ebeling.
O’Keefe says he’ll work to improve members’ core business amid increasing competition and a turbulent economy “through research, education, advocacy and networking.”
