Tractor Supply Q2 profit, sales rise

Brentwood, Tenn. -- Farm and ranch store chain Tractor Supply Co. reported Wednesday that net income for the second quarter rose 17% to $106.6 million, compared with $91.2 million in the same period last year. Sales increased 9.6% to $1.29 billion, just missing Wall Street’s expected $1.30 billion in sales.
