J.C. Penney Stands by Ellen DeGeneres as Spokeswoman

J.C. Penney said it fully backs its partnership with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres after a conservative group urged the retailer to reconsider hiring DeGeneres as a spokeswoman because she's a lesbian.
