Etsy Retires Geolocator Search Tool

Etsy is retiring its Geolocator search tool that allowed shoppers to browse sellers that are located near them. Etsy said shoppers could use the Local search feature instead. The reason for retiring Geolocator is that Etsy is moving away from Flash technology. Etsy launched local search in November. The company recommended sellers update their location settings in their member profiles to ensure they are found in location searches.
