Dillard's Settles JDA Software Litigation for $57M

JDA Software has agreed to pay Dillard's $57 million to settle a lawsuit against JDA's subsidiary i2 Technologies, which had sold the department store retailer supply chain software back in 2000. JDA acquired i2 in January 2010. In June 2010, the litigation against i2 was decided in Dillard's favor, with a judgment of $237 million attached; i2 appealed the judgment and the matter had been pending in the court of appeals. "While we remain confident in the strength of our legal position, we entered into the settlement agreement to bring this matter to a conclusion," said JDA Software CEO
