Casual Male Q2 profit up 17%

Canton, Mass. -- Casual Male Retail Group reported Thursday that second-quarter net income surged 17% to $6.6 million, compared with $5.6 million a year earlier. Revenue increased 3.8% to $100.9 million in the period, surpassing Wall Street expectations of $99.5 million.
