Buy.com debuts comparison-shopping app

Online merchant Buy.com launched an app that uses bar-code and voice-recognition technology to let users compare prices set by Buy.com's merchants with those at brick-and-mortar stores. Shoppers can either scan bar codes or speak the name of the product to use the feature.
