Amazon.com launched a textbook trade in program in 2009, and it announced on Wednesday it was expanding the program to include electronics. The new Electronics Trade-In Store allows consumers to trade in used electronics - regardless of where they were purchased - for Amazon.com Gift Cards. Customers can now trade in electronics, including tablets, cell phones, MP3 players, cameras, GPS devices and more in addition to books, DVDs, Blu-ray discs and video games. The Amazon Trade-In works similarly to other trade-in programs offered by NextWorth, Gazelle and eBay, which launched its program last year. Consumers visit the Amazon website,
